Money Heist spin-off Berlin has been renewed for a second season by Netflix.

Pedro Alonso will be back as ndrés de Fonollosa or Berlin, with a new heist joined by Michelle Jenner who plays Keila, an expert in electronic engineering; Tristán Ulloa is Damián, a philanthropic professor and Berlin’s confidante; Begoña Vargas is Cameron, a kamikaze who always lives on the edge; Julio Peña Fernández plays Roi, Berlin’s faithful squire; and Joel Sánchez as Bruce, the relentless man of action.

During its premiere week, the Spanish series was the most-watched series globally and reached the Top 10 in 91 countries. Since then, it has remained in the Top 10 for 7 consecutive weeks in non-English TV, amassing 348 million hours viewed and 53 million total views. The series is now ranked at number 9 among the most-watched non-English language series in the history of Netflix.

The filming of the second season created by Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato will begin in 2025.
