Nine:

  • Married at First Sight has once again cemented itself as Australia’s No.1 program. Last week it took out the Top 4 rankings with People 25-54, 16-39, GS 18+ and Total People.
  • Sunday’s episode of Married at First Sight was the No.1 program of the week by audience, recording a Total TV average audience of 1.981 million, including 633,000 on 9Now. This number will increase in the weeks ahead, as the BVOD number continues to build.
  • The strength of 9Now was illustrated with more people in the key demographic of 16-39 watching the Sunday and Monday episodes of Married at First Sight on 9Now than on linear. In the 16-39 demographic, MAFS has had a stronger audience across 9Now than the next best performing program (Australian Survivor) has had across Total TV.

  1. 7’s BVOD really lacking since that’s why 9 was able to close the gap. But given 250k+ watch MAFS on BVOD live I guess it’s expected that 9 BVOD does well

  2. Incredible number for MAFS – a show not young at all anymore. Credit to Nine for reinvigorating it each year and shame on Seven and Ten for being so incapable of coming up with alternatives to dethrone it from #1 after all these years.
