On Wenesday 9Now will screen Global Citizen Nights: Live from Melbourne, from the Palais Theatre.
Headlined by the legendary Crowded House, the two-hour event will also feature performances by artists including Sampa The Great, Nooky + 3%, Go-Jo and Behani.
Hosts Maria Thattil and Hugh Sheridan will guide the audience through a memorable night of great music, performances and impactful stories. Global Citizen Nights marks a return for international advocacy organisation Global Citizen to its Melbourne origins and promises to be not only a night of entertainment, but a celebration of the remarkable, young individuals who have made significant contributions in the areas of climate change, equity, and the fight to end extreme poverty within their local communities in the Asia-Pacific region.
The occasion will be unforgettable, with a mix of music, inspiration and activism to shine a light on the incredible work being done by young changemakers and to ignite passion to encourage others to join the cause.
