Three part series Lost Temples Of Cambodia will screen tonight on SBS in a triple play marathon.

From the majestic, awe-inspiring Angkor Wat (the world’s largest religious monument), all the way to the latest archaeological discoveries buried deep in the Cambodian jungle, this series goes on the hunt for vanished ruins, lost cities, hidden temples – and tells a cutting-edge story of an ancient civilisation.

Episode One:
British Archaeologist Pauline Carroll explores the ancient Khmer civilisation that built the world famous temple, Angkor Wat.

Episode Two:
Pauline discovers the Khmer empire’s greatest king, and the world’s first free national health service.

Episode Three:
Pauline visits new discoveries from the ancient Khmer Empire and speculates on its decline.
