Orpheus Pledger arrested following police manhunt

Former Home & Away and Neighbours actor Orpheus Pledger is in custody after being arrested.

“Please be advised that Orpheus Pledger, who was wanted on warrant, has been arrested,” police said in a statement on Thursday.

He was due to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday to confront allegations he assaulted a woman.

But when his case was called he could not be found.

Pledger who played Mason Morgan on Home & Away from 2016–2019 drew headlines in mid-2018 after saving a woman from a violent assault by a hooded predator in Surry Hills.

He later appeared in SAS Australia in 2022.
