Despite its torrid week of headlines and allegations flying about in courtrooms, 7News Spotlight is due to return to screens on Sunday.

Unnamed sources told The Australian as it currently stands, neither Seven nor anyone at Spotlight have been found to have done anything wrong. The show also has a number of programs in the can.

Federal Court judge Michael Lee could hand down his judgment in the Lehrmann vs 10 / Lisa Wilkinson defamation case this week. It remains unclear how much the allegations of last week could impact on that result and / or on Seven’s Spotlight programme.
