Aussie Hoa Xuande to be honoured at Gold Gala

Aussie actor Hoa Xuande (Ronny Chieng: International Student, Hungry Ghosts, Cowboy Bebop) who is starring in The Sympathizer alongside Robert Downey Jr is set to be honoured by Gold House, the nonprofit organisation that celebrates Asian Pacific creatives, companies and communities.

Xuande will be honoured on May 11 at a gala event in LA alongside the cast of Beef, Cynthia Erivo, Padma Lakshmi, Lucy Liu, Kitty, producer-director Karan Johar, Team USA’s Olympic skating team and more.

Presenters will include Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (aka Daniels), Regina King, Lulu Wang, John Cho, Auliʻi Cravalho, Avatar: The Last Airbender‘s Gordon Cormier, Dallas Liu and Elizabeth Yu, and Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria.
