It has one of the best darned titles in TV, and it’s finally coming to air fulfilling a long, overdue promise: Little Mosque on the Prairie.
The half hour Canadian sitcom follows the trials and tribulations of a group of Muslims living in a conservative small town in the Canadian Prairies.
In the first episode, a small Muslim community in the prairies finally gets its own mosque – the problem is, it’s in a church.
The show is now in its fourth season in Canada, with a US version announced in 2008, but yet to surface.
In a surprising move, the show will premiere on SBS TWO, 8:35pm Monday February 8th and will continue weeknights at 8:30pm.

Yes! Thanks for the heads up, David.
I’m not thrilled with the fact that it’s on weeknights, but I’ll definately make an effort to tune in. If all else fails, hopefully SBS will offer it for viewing on their website. 🙂
Isn’t that the time that 112 emergency is on ?
Great been waiting for some channel to show this for a while now 🙂
Finally! It’s been a while coming, but good to see it airing here. Bit of an awkward time slot, though.
