Next Monday night Seven will premiere Santo, Sam & Ed’s Sports Fever.
The sports panel show featuring Santo Cilauro, Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee will air at 10:45pm* Monday January 30th, one night after the Australian Open Men’s Singles final.
Dissecting global sports news and events, this will be a weekly one hour, live program and follows on from Working Dog’s 2010 outing for SBS, Santo, Sam & Ed’s Cup Fever.
While the timeslot isn’t exactly in the hot zone, the good news is there should be less pressure and more room to roll with the punches.
*updated.

This looks about as entertaining as wet particle board.
How long before it is put on 7 two/mate.
So straight after Q&A right? I could get behind that.
bloddy cool
for me this type of show should be on during sporting events (i.e world cup,Olympics/comm games,). I would have put this show on 7TWO/Mate at around 9pm and replay the show on 7 later at night.
so glad to see Santo (Snato) back on tv !
Was thrown for a second though … at first glance, I mistook his thumbnail pic on the tvtonight front page as Dustin Hoffman. #needsglasses
@ Kim: Yeah but that was Roy and HG.
But is there anything more for…Snato fans?
That is past my bedtime. Will iq it and watch the next day. Sounds like a good show though.
I hope Rob Sitch will be back doing more character work. Takes me back to the days of The Late Show.
Fantastic.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yippee!!!
Dr Rudi – remember the Dream with Roy and HG? That was on at a similar time and it was a great show and rated well.
The condition of this is a minimum of 12 episodes locked at no later than 10.30. Working dog arnt dumb
Aww, how good is this?!
22:30 just ain’t gonna work.
Fantastic!
I cant wait.
Awesome news thanks for the heads up
It seems like a mistake not to have launched this program on Sunday night after the Men’s final!
Anyway, I look forward to seeing how they go, I enjoyed the program when it was on SBS. Ironically, it will link up nicely with SBS’ The World Game on Monday nights, creating a good sporting programming bloc.
Great to see the boys back on the box, really looking forward to this one. I only hope there is something good for the Snato fans.
Not long to go now. I’m looking forward to this show
