It's a tight race in current voting in TV Tonight's survey, with some categories down to just 4 votes between them.

Voting continues in TV Tonight‘s Aussie TV Character survey, your choice of the best fictional names in sitcoms, sketch, soaps, drama, children’s TV and more.
The results have seen the leaders change hands a number of times in some categories.
In some categories there are runaway winners, including one where a single name has 44% of the votes.
But in three categories there are just 4 votes splitting first and second places.

there were also separate Deadly Earnests in Adelaide and in Brisbane (a young Shane Porteous played the role in Brisbane if I recall correctly??) but I guess the point is they were the one character even if it had variations from one city to another
The problem with Deadly Earnest is there were two of them, one in Sydney and another in Melbourne (Ralph Baker). Ralph was way better than the Sydney one, he really put great drama into it.
Wow, Deadly Earnest, how old are you David? And thanks for including the fantastic Pam Ann. I used to be her babysitter a long time ago.
Link fixed! Vote away…..
