Almost Human first aired late 2013 in the US, and they wonder why people pirate shows. The US networks release teasers and trailers on YouTube, have segments on ET and other shows hyping them up (not to mention David’s reviews here) and we are once again let down by local rights holders putting them on the shelf for over 16 months, long after most in the US have all but forgotten the one season wonders and the cast has moved on.
I say networks should have an obligation to air shows it has within a set time, say 3 months before they loose them to someone else. With networks having multiply channels and choosing to fill it with reruns and old shows/movies there is no reason they can’t find a slot, even if its 3am in the morning. Or just put them on their catch up services or steam them.
Sorry for the rant David.
I don’t review content that isn’t coming up on Australian television.
Stalker deserves better than 9.40-something on Sunday night (as we all know this is what 9.30 becomes).
Almost Human sounds like a promising show. Its got the Kiwi actor Karl Urban so it must have some substance to it. I wish Nine would get Gotham and Arrow back on. Good to see some shows finally being shown though like Person of Interest.
Lol I’m laughing now, is channel nine serious cause seems like there taking the piss, almost human and believe are amazing shows both should of got another season. believe was even voted on this site as the best show not airing here, but yet they put them on at 11:30 what gives.
they have GO for a reason, every night at 8 GO should have new shows, eg arrow, survivour, last ship, believe, almost human and the following if they did that I would watch GO every day, I’m gald I didn’t wait for nine to watch these great shows, I will record following tho never watched s2 for 2 years ago lol
Foxtel will need to update it’s press release then claiming S2 of the following is first on Foxtel

Nine is emptying its vaults of their WB content, must have run out of movies that rate with <55s.
Good, I wanted to check out Almost Human.
Yeah it’s really good but the story does sort of go nowhere it’s the only let down and after FOX airing the series out of order they killed it, Fox sucks
So, Fox didn’t learn anything from when they did that with Firefly then?
How unfortunate that Almost Human and Believe were cancelled after one season
Almost Human was not too bad – more of a cop show with a twist
Does anyone still watch the following ?! – How was this ever renewed not once but twice?
The plots are horrible and the writing contrived.
How the actors can perform without blushing with embarrassment is beyond me.
No it’s rating pretty good in the US and first season was pretty good, haven’t seen later season, but better then a lot of show,
Also believe and almost human were both great but believe was outstanding be my fav new show of 2014
The Following-gives Under the Dome a run for stupidest scripted show on US TV-both are wastes of talented casts (mostly).
Believe is a good show. Worth a watch for fans of sci fi or something different
Almost Human isn’t bad either. But half of these will be bumped or pulled altogether after 2 weeks. This is Nine after all. Look at Gotham, etc
Yeah it really yes, I just rewatched it with the folks, it’s got a good Heart and well acted and the camera work wow
