Wow, we’re a long way from Yul Brynner now.

Here’s the first teaser for HBO’s 2016 series Westworld, based on Michael Crichton’s 1973 film.

It stars Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris and Miranda Otto.

  1. That’s not much to go on so I’ll reserve my judgement but I agree with Tony, it’s an impressive cast and there is plenty of potential. I loved the film but this can be a completely new take. My only concern is that this doesn’t just substitute killer robots for zombies as there are only so many ways for that to play out and I think they’ve all been covered. I’ve certainly had enough of that genre for a while.
