Saturday’s Australian Open was good news for Seven, which had been trailing Nine all week.
The matches gave Seven a win and the network took the week. But it was Nine’s One Day Cricket that was ranked as the week’s top sport, at 1.15m viewers.
Seven’s lift saw TEN relegated back to third place, after managing second a week earlier.

Nine’s lead on Sunday was so big it took all week for Seven to knock it down. Nine won Sunday, Seven won Mon – Sat.
Tony, I was clearly referring to how Seven won 6 of the 7 nights (some by a bigger margin than others).
As David said, Nine’s cricket on the Sunday set its week up for a big lead.
And in my other comment, Seven lost to Nine the same week last year.
