Even with an entire food channel SBS makes room for two more shows, The Pizza Show and Beerland on SBS VICELAND next week.

No doubt these are are produced by VICE Media and not Scripps Networks, which produces most of SBS Food Network content.

Pizza is one of the most popular foods in America, and different cities around the country offer their own take on the dish – from deep-dish pies in Chicago to the thin-crust pizzas of New York City.
Brooklyn Pizzeria owner Frank Pinello travels around the US to meet the amazing characters behind the food that has transformed America.

From deep dish to tavern-style thin, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to Chicago pizza. Frank shows the ins and outs of Chicago pizza and introduces us to the people who help make it what it is today.

9pm Beerland
Golden Road Brewing co-founder Meg Gill shines a spotlight on the growing trend of home brewing. She travels across America searching for the best brews at each destination she visits. While at each location, Gill meets with the homebrewers and gets a taste of the communities that come together around the local beers.
Season One, Episode One: New Mexico
Meg travels to Santa Fe to meet a gun swinging cowboy and an artist who views beer as an extension of his art. Meg then visits an off-grid party that gets out of control.
