Gavin & Stacey confirm last ever episode

So said James Corden and Ruth Jones confirming a Christmas Day farewell for Gavin & Stacey in the UK, five years after the cast last reunited.

A 2019 Christmas special audience of 18.5m was the biggest BBC TV programme outside of sporting and national events since records began in 2002.

Earlier reports, which tipped the return, had suggested majority of the main cast will likely return being Matthew Horne and Joanna Page, James Corden, Ruth Jones, Rob Brydon, Alison Steadman, Larry Lamb and Julia Davis.

Gavin & Stacey ran for three seasons from 2007 to 2010 and has screened in Australia on ABC.
