Am I bovvered?

Move over Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French and Little Britain, there’s a new comic on the horizon.

If you haven’t heard of The Catherine Tate Show before, well you have now. Get set for a slew of new catchphrases breaking out all over Oz as they have in Britain.

Tate is an hilarious Writer / Comic and has a thousand faces. She’s coming to the ABC.

One of them is schoolgirl Lauren whose relentless “Am I bovvered, do I look bovvered? Bovvered? Bovvered? Not bovvered” will become instantly mimicked.

Another is her foul-mouthed racist grandmother. And then there’s the gay man who says he isn’t, “Me dear? Gay dear? How very dare you!”

She is a living treasure.

The ABC will screen Series 2 (which has already aired on UK TV) from 9:35pm Wednesday April 4.
