The following post contains minor spoilers regarding Nip / Tuck including episodes unaired in Australia. Updated Thu 28th.
Joely Richardson is returning to Series 5 of Nip / Tuck for 15 of 22 episodes.
Richardson had left the series in Season 4* to care for her teenage daughter, but it is understood her health has now improved.
Richardson will net a pay rise in the order of $US100,000 per episode.
Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh have also scored pay increases, of $US125,000 per ep.
Meanwhile Lauren Hutton, Paula Marshall and Oliver Platt will also join the series.
UPDATE: Portia de Rossi will also play a lesbian role in Series 5.
* No word from Nine about airing its dusty episodes, now a series and a half on the shelf, including the identity of the Carver.

How is this gonna happen? In series 4 they wrote it in a way this could not be by going well into the future. I dont care really, its brilliant none the less!
I really enjoyed the “Carver” season and was never really sure who it was until the very end … very well done. This next season that I am watching is different but still compelling … I loved the character Rosie O’Donnel played too!
