Daryl Somers won’t be shooting a pilot this year, according to the Herald-Sun.
Plans for a new version of Hey Hey won’t be put forward by the host until later in the year, with a potential shoot on the cards in 2008.
Seven has had plenty of other pilots on the go this year including projects for Naomi Robson, Grant Denyer and Andrew O’Keefe.

I was at the filming for Grant Denyer’s pilot in late June.
It was called “SATURDAY NIGHT’S ALRIGHT” and Fifi Box was co-hosing the show, with Andrew Gaze also involved.
“Brady Bunch Variety Hour” anyone? :/
The last thing Australia needs is bloody “Hey Hey its Crap” back from the television graveyard – a place it truly and deservedly belongs!
