Dirty Sexy gets the Money shot

American drama Dirty Sexy Money has been given the go ahead for a full series.

It is a surprising show of faith in the the middle of the writers’ strike.

The drama by ABC features Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) as an attorney to the eccentric, wealthy Darling family headed by Donald Sutherland and Jill Clayburgh.

Channel Seven has the series in Australia.

It is created by Craig Wright (Brothers and Sisters, Six Feet Under), and executive producers include Greg Berlanti (Brothers and Sisters, Everwood) and Bryan Singer (House).

Seven episodes have aired so far in the US. ABC is hoping it can resume production before the end of the season.
