Murdoch disinterested in Ten

Rupert Murdoch said News Limited would not be buying the TEN Network, calling the price “unjustifiable.”

At a shareholder’s meeting held in Adelaide the chairman was also unfazed by the writer’s strike. Murdoch runs the FOX Network in the US.

“In a sense it helps us,” he said. “It’s cheaper to run repeats but some repeats run much better than others. “They don’t have much financial pressure to apply.”

Meanwhile no word on whether son Lachlan is picking up Jamie Packer’s shares of PBL Media.
