This reschedule is a bit like the old shell game.
Nine will shift the Anne Heche drama Men in Trees to 10:30pm from next Wednesday.
It will be replaced by repeats of RPA Where Are They Now? a title that almost befits Nine scheduling sometimes.
Moving Men in Trees to 10:30pm has a flow-on-effect that bumps Missing Persons Unit over to 10:35pm Thursdays – where RPA Where Are They Now was sitting.
In effect all three shows will end up moving, potentially confusing three audiences. Nine is not alone in changing schedules over summer (TEN moved Journeyman to TEN HD) but it won’t bode well with audiences after a year of dropping shows without notice. At least it’s still on air…
