Law & Order creator Dick Wolf is negotiations for ITV to produce a spin-off, Law & Order: London.

The project would mark the first English-speaking version of the NBC series outside of the United States. Russia already has local versions of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent and France also has its own version of Law & Order: CI.

The 18th series makes the show TV’s longest-running crime series and its second-longest-running drama series behind Gunsmoke.

    Shouldn’t Dick Wolfe be focussing his efforts on fixing up his show which was almost cancelled last year…?
