Sports trivia, the eye of Nine’s tiger.

As networks continue to try to match the success of the ABC’s Spicks and Specks, Nine last week shot a pilot for a new sports trivia show currently called Eye of the Tiger.

On Wednesday night Peter Rowsthorn took the hosting role on the set of Melbourne’s Footy Show, asking sports-related questions of guest celebrities for an in-house recording.

TV Tonight hears the first batch of celebs was to have included Bert Newton, comedians Dave Thornton, Damian Callinan, Matthew Hardy and Olympian Tamsyn Lewis.
