Terri back in the house

Aaaaaaaand we have our first lie from Big Brother for 2008, who having told housemates (and audience) that its first evicted housemate would not be returning, has already re-entered the BB house.

Terri was snuck back into the Diary Room and asked to return to lockdown until Sunday night. “Big Brother will make you an offer you would be wise not to refuse.”

Given Sunday’s edition is subtitled ‘Gatecrashers’ it’s not hard to guess the outcome here. In any case she already re-entered the house just by visiting the Diary Room.

It’s a move no doubt designed to re-assert the generation gap it lost on Tuesday night, but it is also likely to anger viewers who’ll surely accuse BB of lying. What’s the point in listening to any of his promises if they are so readily broken?

If everything is up for grabs why don’t we evict Kyle and Jackie O? Didn’t think so.

  1. i think its good that terri is back…
she was obviously one of the top picks of housemates this year…
and when the losers voted her off, it was clear she would go back in
even kyle and jackie o were angry about her departure…so at least now shes returning (:

as for corey…i dont like him…but i think it will be good…for a FEW days
    like
no more then 1 week i rekon.

  2. The last rule of BB is that he can change the rules so he can’t break any promises 🙂

He could keep Terri evicted as promised too – as one housemate has already been evicted, never to enter the house but forever to live in a Kombi van.

  3. To be fair, BB did say that by evicting the oldest HM on Sunday night, the other HMs did “the predictable thing” and that he “hates predictability”, which is why he’s arranging for Terri to go back in. it’s always clearly stated that BB can change the rules at any time and that’s exactly what he’s done. The public didn’t spend money to vote her out, so they can hardly complain about it, can they? Terri will provide some interesting footage and that’s what the show’s all about, in the end.

Let’s not forget that if Ben hadn’t changed his vote to save himself, he and Terri would have had three apiece, so most of the HMs will be happy to see her back.

  4. I just cannot believe that they would bring Corey into the house. I was hoping BB would be different this year, and even though it really isn’t i was probably still going to watch, at least until i got bored. But seriously, this? Now I refuse to watch it. Regardless of whether or not he gets paid to go in there, that kid is a terrible, terrible influence on other teenagers. Imagine what this will cause! 17 year olds everywhere will now have the impression that if you throw a massive party, get into huge amounts of trouble and not even apologise, then you’ll simply become famous!

TEN really have hit a new low with this one.

  5. So are we to assume that if someone else got evicted that first night, they too would be going back in on Sunday?…somehow I doubt it. It smells to me like Channel ten realized how dumb it was to evict Terri and are back-peddling to get her back in. Lame Lame Lame.
This show is off to a ridiculous start.

  6. Yay! I was hoping for this to happen. Terri is a great housemate especially from last years selection. *shudder*

here’s hoping she survives long!! ^.^

  7. Wow, the Pauline Hanson supporter not only pics the only Asian guy to but also rubs it in by forcing him to suffer outside and sleep in a car.

It may be 2008 but people are still quite backward.

I hope the house give her hell if she returns.
