Returning: Doctor Who

Happy 40th Birthday Kylie, the ABC has just announced a date for your Doctor Who role as a waitress on the Titanic.

The “Voyage of the Damned” Christmas special from 2007 will screen on Sunday June 29th (presumably at 8:30pm but that’s to be confirmed).

It will follow with the new series a week later. Hurrah!

  1. Oh come on people, get a grip, its a tv show – just be thankful it has been set to screen – remember the licencing laws for tv over in England then USA so we have to wait – so what – if you cant wait download it

  2. Again, no real justification for making Aus viewers wait until June for the new season … particularly the christmas Special!
It has been a very up and down season so far … episode 8 airs this weekend in the UK. The best ep so far is episode 2 “The Fires Of Pompeii” it was astounding … the rest have been a bit below par from my point of view … the Agatha Christie one was good though …
And what is this stupid Sunday Night idea! Should be Saturday!
    Jack!

  3. Will the new episodes air on Sunday Nights the week after the Christmas special or on a different night? Because last year the xmas special was aired on a Thursday night and the series was aired Saturday Nights.. Thanks!

  4. thank you for puting The air date for Doctor who you made my day what the ABC should have done is put Doctor who on and after that show put The Sara Jane Advensers on so could have been a sci fi night

  5. News to which a VAST percentage of the show’s very internet-savvy and BitTorrent-equipped Australian fan base will say “yawn” as they watch the final episode of the 13-episode new season the day the ABC finally gets around to showing episode 1.
