Picked the fake yet? I’m surprised the crocs haven’t.

No, this isn’t David Attenborough: Spy in a Really Bad Croc suit it’s Dr Brady Barr from Dangerous Encounters coming to the National Geographic channel in July. Barr made worldwide headlines last year when he wore a custom-designed crocodile suit to get up close and personal on the Nile.

This week he is touring Sydney and Melbourne with his custom-built crocodile suit and giving a free seminar.

Press Release:

Reptile expert, Dr Brady Barr, to tour Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland with his custom-built crocodile suit.

Come and meet the first person to ever capture and study all 23 species of crocodilians in the wild.

With the new season of his series Dangerous Encounters premiering in July, National Geographic’s resident herpetologist, Dr Brady Barr, will be in Australia and New Zealand from Wednesday June 25 to Sunday June 29. He will be sharing his most unforgettable adventures in the field, including a near death experience in remote Indonesia and why he crawled around in a life-like hippo suit to get close enough to scrape the sweat off the backs of these deadly African giants.

Dr Barr made worldwide headlines last year when he wore a custom-designed crocodile suit to get up close and personal with these cold-blooded denizens of the Nile. This suit will be on display during his tour.

With one third of all crocodile species endangered, Dr Barr’s extraordinary work brings much needed attention to their plight.

This unforgettable experience is FREE. Seats are strictly limited so don’t delay.
