Another 2 minutes of fame

While Big Brother is having a send-off on TEN this Monday night, one of its inaugural housemates will be enjoying her first acting stint at the same time on Seven.

“Lip-gloss queen” Jemma Gawned has a (very) brief stint in City Homicide on Monday night, meeting her demise in the opening scene on a Melbourne beach.

The appearance amounts to be less than 2 minutes, but Gawned is said to keen to try her hand at more roles. Gossip followers will no doubt notice that her former boyfriend, triathlete Daniel McPherson, comprises part of the City Homicide team. If he’d come bounding out of the water he might have been in time to rescue her, but alas it was not to be.

Former BB housemate Blair McDonough will also be seen this series. Meanwhile in just over a week’s time, Peter O’Brien guest stars in the hit drama, playing a particularly unpleasant role.

City Homicide airs 8:30pm Mondays on Seven.
