Former Popstars outcast in 90210

One of the original team members of Popstars’ Bardot, Chantelle Barry, has scored a role in 90210, as Nina, a friend of Naomi Clark (Anna Lynne McCord from Nip / Tuck), who is the most popular girl at West Beverly Hills High School.

Barry has nabbed the role eight years after she was sacked from Bardot for allegedly stealing money from Sophie Monk. It was a scandal that rocked the hugely popular first series and left a vacancy to be filled by Tiffani Wood.

Barry will appear in the first three episodes, but her role is likely to be extended throughout the season.

The show launches Monday in the US and 8:30pm Monday September 8 on TEN.
