Olympics has again dominated the week in television giving Seven another mammoth share over its rivals.
In Week 34, Seven had a 43.1% share, 0.8% less than the preceding week.
Nine had 20.1%, TEN 17.1%, ABC 15.0% and SBS 4.7%.
But Olympics are no guarantee of glory with the share for SBS well down on its weekly averages and lower than its previous week of 6.6%. Nine, TEN and ABC all rose in the Olympics’ second week.
The week’s top rater was Day 9 Primetime (Sunday) with 2.2m viewers, roughly the size of a strong State of Origin audience.
Best figures for rival networks was National Nine News (Sun) at 1.39m, ABC News (weeknights) with 1.08m and Law & Order: SVU on 1.00m. SBS didn’t land any shows in the week’s Top 100 programmes.
