Heroes Zachary Quinto (Sylar) makes a convincing Spock in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek feature.

How cool do these photos look?
They are taken, of course, from the upcoming feature film of Star Trek, directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Damon Lindelof, both from Lost.
In the role of a younger Spock is Heroes’ Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine plays Cpt. Kirk.
Others include Anton Yelchin as Chekov, Simon Pegg as Lt. Montgomery Scott, Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy, John Cho as Sulu and Zoe Saldana as Uhura.
And Eric Bana as the villain, Nero….
Sadly while it was pencilled in for a Christmas release it’s now May 2009.

I like the bridge – and Quinto looks likwe he is Spock – best casting ever!
Quinto looks great 🙂
A DS9 movie would have been great but to see Nimoy again and to see Quinto take on the challenge of Spock is still going to be damn kewl.
Ahhh… so THIS are where all the nerds are hiding, debating about DS9 vs TNG movies… to put the matter to rest, a Voyager movie would have been the best… can you imagine the splendour of Jerri Ryan’s portrayal of 7 of 9 on the BIG screen… or perhaps even IMAX?
Matter resolved 😛
I agree a DS9 movie would have been awesome.
@ knoxoverstreet and @ jack
sorry guys…..a DS9 movie would have been the sh!t 🙂
*backs away quietly, avoiding eye contact 🙂
All early reports are suggesting this is the worst Star Trek film made.
The actors who play Sulu and Kirk are distancing themselves from the film and have made public comments that they think the movie isnt going to be received well
Abrams should stop acting like his projects have these deeper meanings, he makes them up as he goes along and throws random stuff on the net to try trick his viewers into thinking there is more than meets the eye, when in fact there never is.
Like when George Lucas said he had Star Wars Eps 1-2-3 sitting in the draw for the last thirty years when we very well know he threw them together over a weekend.
Jack an Enterprise (or for that matter Voyager) movie would have been great but being a huge fan of TOS I’m eagerly awaiting this one.
Looks like some Village People takeoff, but with 15 year-old space captains.
Mr Bana is now added…
Well, this is interesting … i hope this one is better than the last one!
I was hoping it would be a movie of Enterprise but saldy they went for this …
Jack!
Awesome pics can’t wait for this! I’m hoping this will help bring about a new Trek series.
The likeness are uncanny
You’re missing the pic of Eric Bana as Nero.
This is COOL!
