While I’m sure the Ten, Ten HD, ONE HD thing is just a mistake, I really, really hope it isn’t.

Is it that Freeview ad? I saw that, and i was wondering why i was seeing Sunrise on Channel 10, but then i realised it was for all FTA channels. Was it that they showed the ad on all the FTA channels? Would explain why Seven News and The Simpsons finished so early :p How lovely 🙂

Does anyone know if that re-run deal was still going ahead (where networks could show reruns of shows that have already aired on other networks). I don’t know what its called, but the last I heard was that channel 10 didn’t want to be a part of it
Bruce Gordon, owner of WIN, apparently always hated the dots, hence their omission from Nine Adelaide and Perth.
I saw it.. why would you want freeview? Sounds awful.
It doesnt hav testicles in adelaide either. Coz they’re both owned by WIN, so i think it wants to distinguish itself from the actual nine network

Andrew – ABC and SBS was included this time…
Garion – according to the Freeview website, Tasmania and other ‘regional’ markets will get the extra channels (although branded as Southern Cross, WIN, Prime or NBN as appropriate).
but what does this mean for places like Tasmania. Do we still get stuck with the affiliate stations – or do we get access to 10HD, 1HD and channels like that?
😆 just saw it now I will be impressed when they get the onscreen guides working and we finally get 10HD in the Wide Bay!

So if I’m to understand Freeview correctly, if I already have a HD STB or a TV panel with a HD tuner already integrated, then there is no need for me to buy a Freeview branded product? ie I won’t be getting any additional channels that I wouldn’t already be getting through my STB or integrated panel? I suspect I wouldn’t get the Freeview EPG though if I don’t own a Freeview product, or would that appear as a separate channel for me on my existing STB? If anyone knows, your answers are greatly appreciated.
