Network TEN’s Elephant Princess has been picked up for international screenings.
The series produced by Jonathan M. Shiff will air in the UK on the Nickelodeon channel. It is set to debut on Februrary 20.
The 13×30′ fantasy /adventure series has also been purchased by Italy’s Rai and Nickelodeon in Spain.
Producing children’s television, along with animation, is indeed a lucrative market if you hit the right target due to its universal appeal. Australia has a long history in making some of the best in the world.
On TEN the series resumes its season on February 7th, but shifts to an 8:30am Saturday timeslot instead of its weekday 4pm slot.
