US drama series Leverage has been renewed for another 15 episodes by the TNT Network.
Timothy Hutton stars as the leader of a band of expert thieves who use their skills in a Robin Hood-like manner against criminals and corrupt business interests. Also in the cast are Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge.
In the US it premiered to 5.6 million total viewers and has been the top-rated basic cable performer for its Tuesday 10 p.m. timeslot. The series is directed by Dean Devlin who, together with Roland Emmerich, produced Independence Day, Godzilla, and The Patriot.
In Australia it screens on FOX8 Wednesdays at 9:30pm.

It’s a fun, enjoyable show. Good News.
I like it, just wish one of the FTA picked it up, oh wait that would mean they would show half the season before dumping it LOL
From what I have seen so far on FOX8 it looks quite enjoyable. Look forward to see more of it.
Oh, and I’m really happy that they got another 15 eps ordered!
I keep seeing Leverage described as ‘Robin Hood’ .. I think a better comparison is Ocean’s 11. They’re not steal from the arbitrary rich to give to the arbitrary poor (as per Robin Hood) instead they’re seeking revenge from specific people for specific people. Neither are necessarily poor or rich (cf. S01E01)
