TEN’s Indian Premier League begins this weekend on ONE HD.
The matches move to South Africa after it could not be held in India this year following security concerns. The tournament has been trimmed to four weeks with 24 double headers.
The first match will start on Saturday night.
On the nights where two games are to be played ONE’s coverage will begin around 8.30pm and finish in the early hours of the morning.
You can download a guide to the IPL schedule here.

hurry up channel 10. the mid north coast needs this service
A joke competition on a joke channel.
I agree with Sameer. I cannot believe that there will be no late night / early morning delayed telecasts of the IPL on 10. They did it last year with hames being played live on 10 HD and delayed on 10.
This is a great tournament that now can only be accessed by people in the 5 metro areas and with a high def reciever.
Well done Network and Southern Cross 10
It’s quite clear One should have launched as an SD channel, with Ten HD remaining and dipping into both the Ten and One schedules when necessary.
The clash with the netball one night, and no evening AFL in HD when it clashes with the IPL, shows that ONE HD – 1 and ONE SD – 12 should be split into separate channels when needed. Would mean they could show the IPL on 1 and netball on 12, and show the AFL in HD on 1 and the IPL on 12.
So will any matches be one regular Ten for us regionals?
Only people in One HD broadcast areas are going to see it, due the incompetent people at SC10 not being ready for onehd yet. They should show it at the late night instead of infomercials and the religious programming. I would the IPL but I cant get the feed, which sucks.
By Crom I wish we could get ONE here in northern NSW. This is the first thing on ONE I’ve really want to watch but I’m sure it won’t be the last. Hurry up Southern Cross Ten 🙁
funny, i didn’t know the 24 hour clock went beyond 23:59! (from the One IPL schedule)
In TV scheduling its practice to program up to 26:00, 27:00 etc so a late show is attached to the “day before” rather than the “day after.”
