Jeepers movie double
Jeepers Creepers and its sequel running on consecutive nights on different networks?

A rather bizarre coincidence in film programming this week sees two Jeepers Creepers movies airing on consecutive nights on two different networks.
Seven screens the 2003 sequel Jeepers Creepers 2 at 11:45pm on Friday night.
The night after Nine has the 2001 original Jeepers Creepers at 12am on Sunday 24th (Saturday night).
The films were surrounded in controversy after its director Victor Salva made news for a child molestation case during the filming of an earlier film Clownhouse. Salva pleaded guilty in 1988 to five felony counts of child sex abuse; he served 15 months of a three-year prison sentence.
Both Jeepers Creepers films were made after his release.

wasn’t jeepers creepers on the tv just a few months back?
they’re on wayyy tooo late though 🙁
it’s not happening here in metro QLD, the channel 9 one is but on channel 7 we have AFL late at night and meet the fockers earlier.
Oh also for the record the creature from Jeepers Creepers 2 only targets attractive young males. Victor Salva has acknowledged the films are about child predators.
It’s like those weekends that Seven will play Four Weddings & a Funeral and Ten will play About A Boy or Seven will play Pretty Woman, Nine playing My Bestfriends Wedding and Ten playing America’s Sweethearts. They do it with Ben Stiller too.
I do quite like the Julia Roberts weekends.
wut …. oh woooooow coincidence … right.
I noticed that when looking through the TV guides this morning. I wonder if Seven and Nine will speak to one another and swap the movies and nights….
I have not seen these films for ages!
That’s a really strange co-incidence.
Both films are good though – very entertaining.
The second one is my personal favourite – it seems to make no illusions to its ‘adult’ overtones in the script…
Meh who cares those movies are awesome 😀
