Opening his set with a version of James Brown’s 1966 classic It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World, he sang songs including renditions of Sam Cooke’s A Change is Gonna Come, Anne Peeble’s I Can’t Stand the Rain, Eddie Floyd’s Knock on Wood, The Impressions’ People Get Ready and Al Green’s Here I am (Come and Take Me). Kiss by a Rose and Crazy also featured.

Between songs, Seal bantered with MAX Sessions host Jon Farriss about the inspirations behind his music and how he developed his unique sound. He also answered questions from a lucky audience including included Axle Whitehead, Layne Beachley and Kirk Pengilly, Nic Bishop, Glenn A Baker, MAX’s Yumi Stynes, Channel [V]’s Danny Clayton and Renee Bargh and The Lifestyle Channel’s Charlie Albone and Juliet Love.
