Jed, they repeat Good News Week on Saturday night so you could tape that, or watch it on the 10 website.
Great show last night.
Looks like this move was actually a smart one, GNW and SPN got their highest ratings all year last night. They should extend GNW to 90 minutes every week.
That is sucks…OMG! Why channel 10 is doing this…I hate this show good news week..shouldn’t be supernatural first then good news week later…!!
Hmmm having just read about prison break being bumped half an hour by american dad it’s no wonder my main preference of watching tv is on DVD or cable.
Now that just sucks. Not the Supenatural bit, i don’t watch that anymore. But i record Good News Week and watch Desperate Houswives, then record Spooks at 9.35 and watch Brothers and Sisters. It’s bad enough cutting off the last 5 mins of GNW so i can switch to spooks to record, now what the hell am i gonna do???? ABC can you move Spooks to Thursday please, i don’t watch anything Thursday night.
Ten news started at 11pm, so should be safe with 11pm cut off.
thanks for the notice 10!!!! i just saw this now at work and won’t know if i caught the end till i get home, i set my over-run to stop at 11pm, does anyone know if they cut down the ads a little so it fit or will i have missed the last little bit?
It was a smart move not editing out too much of Noble’s madness. It must dent the egos of people like Robbins and Anderson, having to share the limelight, but they don’t seem to mind too much. Looking forward to seeing Noble again in Brizzy this weekend. Genius!
After watching Good News Week, I can understand why they wanted the extra time…Ross Noble was absolutely hilarious!! Good News Week was recorded on Saturday and edited on Sunday, so I’m guessing with all the extra material the producers asked for extra time. Monday would have been the earliest for Ten to advise the change.
I wish I knew that before as I recorded Brothers & Sisters on 7 waiting to watch Supernatural. Looks recording the first half hour of Brothers & Sisters was not necessary.
pftttt… great programming… but isn’t GNW recorded like last week? They could have prepared us a few days earlier rather then 10 mins before it airs no!?!?
Great work Ten. I see the complacency begins…
I noticed this change in Ten’s handy EPG that actually specifies the times show’s start and finish. I think GNW actually finished one minute later that what it was supposed to. Love Paul’s gag about Supernatural not being on 🙂
Yeah, nice one Ten, extend the show a few hours before it airs so those recording it miss the end. Genius.
OMG How funny was roble (ross noble), i think he is the first person ever on gnw to get 1000 points lol…… I cant wait to see him in melbourne
I wish I checked this site earlier. Recoreded it and missed the last ten minutes. Guess i’ll have to record the replay on Saturday night.
Thank goodness. Any night with more GNW and less Supernatural is a good one. =D
F**k………beaten to it again!!
Two words, Steve: Ross Noble.
So now it seems this show won’t end at season 5 after all, even though Eric Kripke said for years that thats when he would end it. Looks like the CW will continue it once he’s gone so viewers can expect it to be dragged out for even longer.
Steve: By the looks of it, it can be summed up by Ross Noble’s tangents that you couldn’t possibly cut.
But will it end at 10pm? I guess I’ll find out in about 40 minutes…
Good thing I’ve see tonights Supernatural already.
I dunno why TEN would do this.. i mean, it just seems strange that they would keep pushing around a show that is already underperforming.. ah well.. I enjoy GNW so i’m happy! 🙂
Wonderful, thanks Ten, yet another Supernatural episode I will miss the ending as my tape shuts off early. Thank goodness for that new invention which takes out all the ads and never misses an ending – the dvd box sets!
90 minutes tonight only?
Why?
