Seven's kids' show has become so popular that the cast will embark on their first national tour later this year.

the-fairiesSeries 3 of the popular children’s TV show, The Fairies, has commenced filming at their studios in Norwood, South Australia.

The Seven show has become so popular they will embark on their first national tour from the 19th September to November 23rd.

The new television series will air on Seven from 16 July 2009, and have gone green with an environment segment dubbed “Fairy Green”. With a Green step each day, it will endeavour to teach kids that our Earth can be saved (‘cos let’s face it they’re the ones that mucked it up int he first plce, right?).

The activity series also features Fairy Princess Minuet giving with gentle dance steps and Rainbow Fairy makes her debut as the specialist Activity Fairy.

New to Series 3 is a Fairy Tale segment, with stories read out loud in “FairyMagination”, and pantomimes performed by cast members.

Former Fairies cast member Rhys Bobridge of course, went on to biger things as the runner up in So You Think You Can Dance Australia last year. Looks like having magic feet really does help.
