Media got its first look at FlashForward yesterday, the futuristic drama that premieres in the US in late September.
Disney was so tight on maintaint the secrecy it asked attendees to sign confidentiality agreements that make it tricky to say anything about what was shown…
The series will premiere in the US on Thursday, September 24 and fastracked to Seven.
Keep you posted on this one.

Your NDA-sounding comments even make it sounds like you weren’t even there!! Were you? :p
I was actually. How else would I know about the confidentiality?
Ummm, it can at least be a 22 week show if the “flash forward” is to some time in April 2010!!! The creators have said that the show *can* continue beyond one season because of the flash forward device.
Great movie premise…not a 22 week story though…can anyone say “Lost”?
Is that the show they are advertising on Seven with a glimpse of a fetus in the womb (or something else, like a school) and then it comes up with “What did you see?” It has always been bugging me because it doesn’t tell you what the Show is.
This will either take a Sunday or Thursday slot at 8.30pm…with Seven bringing in Gary Unmarried out of nowhere it looks like it will take the Sunday slot. I’m hoping it goes on Thursdays since I’m out on Sunday nights, but we’ll have to play the waiting game.
Jack, Disney owns ABC which will be showing Flashforward. I’m sure it won’t be the life version of The Lion King. 😉
@Craig, yes sunday is the hot tip. i hope it goes there.
@jack!, what’s wring with disney, they have made plenty of great shows. if this is up to the standard of Lost, desperate housewives, alias ect.it will be fantastic. who do you think would do a better job?
so sorry david, were you part of the media that got it’s first look yesterday, does the confidentiality agreement mean that we can’t even hear a yay or nay from the media. i am very interested in what the critics have to say.
Disney … that does not fill me with confidence that it will be as edgy as needed to succeed … Disney???? Oh, help!
Jack!
All the different promos look fantastic. This and V will be the shows to watch this new season! I’m thinking Monday night’s will be chosen while they delay new eps of Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters until next year. But I’m with you Craig, I might use my TARDIS and watch this on the Friday anyway! 😉
So no word on an air date yet for Seven?
Okay lets look at this, Sep24 is a Thursday so Friday morning here. I very much doubt a Friday premier, maybe Sunday night replacing Bones? Any later and I may be tempted to go else where to see the pilot… I might watch it Friday anyway…
