US mystery series Castle has received a full season pick-up by the ABC network.
That’s good news for the Seven Network which also has full seasons of FlashForward and Cougar Town from ABC. Seven returned new episodes on Sunday night, following Bones.
Meanwhile TEN has Modern Family and Nine has The Middle, all with full seasons from ABC.
In the US Castle has shown promise competing against CSI: Miami.
It will now have a full 22 episode season.

I missed last weeks episode, but i set it for record on IQ incase i forget again, or am watching Rove. Love Castle though, and im glad they got a full season 😀 Lets hope Seven doesnt play around with its timeslot, or worse take it off air mid-season.
o cool, dont remember! lol
FlashForward also just got renewed for a full 22ep season
Peter: reported that last week.
Excellent news!!!!
Love this show!!!!
Good to know there’s lot more of Castle and Beckett to come.
Great news. Hope the audience picks up here though cos it’s a great show.
Absolutely fantastic. Its a shame such shows as Mercy looks like it wont get the same treatment.
Good on Castle, I like the show.
I hope Eastwick gets a full season, just to see the old town which used to be Stars Hollow on Gilmore Girls…
I guess Cougar Town, Modern Family and The Middle are all lined up for 2010, or maybe a summer start, if they rate them continue into the new year? All 3 are great sitcoms, but they have a checkered history on local TV.
Great, I love this show, at least they now have the chance to develop characters and storylines without fear of the axe!
i guess this puts another nail in the coffin of eastwick and the forgotten. ABC won’t be renewing them all.
Nice, it’s a good show.
