Fans of Hollywood nostalgia should keep their eyes peeled for two documentaries coming to ABC2 -one on Audrey Hepburn, and another on Doris Day.
Hepburn was best known for her films including Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, My Fair Lady and Sabrina and being synonymous with big sunglasses and that Givenchy little black dress. But she endured extreme hardships in Nazi-occupied Holland while growing up.
Hepburn used her experiences to help others in need as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children’s Fund.
The Magic Of Audrey airs 8:30pm Sunday November 15th on ABC2 and is repeated on ABC1 Sunday, November 22 at 3:00pm.
A week later ABC2 airs What A Difference A Day Made: Doris Day Superstar.
