New US medical drama Mercy will become the first show to be shifted from Seven's schedule to 7TWO.

mercNew US medical drama Mercy will become the first show to be shifted from Seven’s schedule to 7TWO.

Seven had planned to air the series next Monday after a brief interruption to fastracking caused by US programming.

But now it will be replaced by a second episode of Criminal Minds as from Monday. A repeat of the episode “True Night” will air in its place.

The series originally began on Seven following FlashForward before it was bumped to 10:30pm.

TV Tonight understands it will be coming soon to 7TWO.

  1. I’m a channel 9 viewer at 9.30 Mondays since they started buggering about with the timing! I love the show, I hope it doesn’t get ditched like so many other great shows!

  2. Wonder how long it will take them to put Mercy on 7Two? I am keen to keep watching this show, so hopefully soon. It really makes you question starting to watch a new show on any of the shite free to air networks. At least Pay TV will usually show a full series instead of yanking it off the air completely. Get your s**t together, 7!

  3. Noooooooo!. Sorry but I love this show and I do not have the new digital channel. It should have been put on a different timeslot. Thankyou 7 for nothing. Guess I will have to wait for the dvd. Personally i would have put it on after Packed to the Rafters.

  4. Me too – very disappointed as another Prime person! Can’t Seven replay it late at night (as well as other shows moved to Channel 7TWO such as Ugly Betty, Heroes and The Unit which we can’t watch online on the Channel 7 site)? If Seven keeps changing these shows to the new channel can they please put these shows on the list of shows we can watch online – at least until Prime get their act together.

  5. I hope Se7en *do* air this on SevenTwo …. I understand sometimes things don’t rate as well as you’d hoped, but if SevenTwo respects the viewers it Has enough to air this on their b-side channel, then they’ll lock me in as a viewer.

  6. with multiple repeats and timeslots, every channel has a show they love to play heaps.

    7 has Criminal Minds,
    9 has 2.5 Men,
    GO has Seinfeld
    and 10 has Simpsons, NCIS

  7. What’s the point, not long to go, and any other show will just rate the same anyway. When shows at 10.30 get moved there’s problems. It’s a great show anyway.

Don’t agree on Flashforward, i still like it, and it’s got me hooked.

And 3 episodes of Criminal Minds a week is a bit much, i actually like the repeats because i never used to watch it. Saw a bit over summer, liked it but there was always something else on, but i’m loving watching the old episodes.

  8. Instead of the knee jerk reacton of shifting Mercy to 10.30, they could have waited and tried it on in place of AllSaints on Tuesdays, then PP could have returned with Greys.

Paull, I’m sticking with Flashforward so far, there have still been enough twists and turns to keep me coming back.

  9. I remember this suggestion by a few posters here, we still get to have Mercy on our screens,
im lovin these second sd channels, they are quite handy hey.
One has to wonder why thre networks took so long to launch them.

  10. Ahh.. but the good news is that 7 & 9, when they stupidly rip a show off before giving it a chance, are now putting them on their second digital channels.

Wouldn’t it surprise the hell out of them if some of those shows actually then did well!

  11. The thing is with CM although it’s a top notch show it doesn’t reward repeat viewings nearly as much as NCIS or CSI before it. I can watch NCIS endlessly because of the comedic elements which CM lacks.

  12. Who didn’t see this coming?

Seven should leave Mercy on Mondays until the end of the ratings period and then consider a move, I like CM but come on Seven stop showing a 2nd ep after the new one, it’s becoming more like NCIS now.
