Airdate: 2010 MTV Movie Awards

MTV Australia will air the 2010 MTV Movie Awards live in Australia, hosted by Parks and Recreation‘s Aziz Ansari.

It will air on MTV Australia on Monday 7th June at 4pm.

Presenters will include Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Shaun White, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean “Diddy,” Combs and Russell Brand.

Christine Aguilera will perform “Not Myself Tonight.”

“MTV has always been a supporter of my music and my career and I am so excited to perform once again on the Movie Awards. My performance comes just days before the release of my album Bionic,” said Aguilera.

This year’s show will feature three new categories: “Biggest Bad-Ass Star”, “Best Scared-As S**t Performance” and “Global Superstar.”

For the first time voting will go international as fans will be able to vote for their favorite global stars in the “Global Superstar” category by visiting local MTV websites.
