Gary Coleman in critical condition

Actor Gary Coleman has reportedly been taken to hospital in a critical condition after suffering head injuries in a fall.

Actor Gary Coleman, 42, has reportedly been taken to hospital in a critical condition after suffering head injuries in a fall.

His brother-in-law told TMZ the former Diff’rent Strokes star fell at his home in Utah.

He was previously hospitalised after suffering what was said to be seizures earlier this year.

Coleman has had a string of financial and legal problems, in addition to continuing ill health from the kidney disease he suffered as a child. He has had at least two kidney transplants and has ongoing dialysis.

In February, Coleman pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge related to an April 2009 domestic violence incident at his home.

  1. @Leon… Yeah he tried to commit suicide by jumping off a curb… Now he’s dead… I really hope u feel like an ass… If not maybe u should go jump off the curb next… And to everybody else… Do u care now??

  2. yes i’m in two minds as to how i perceive his life. He has suffered so much, but also gained so much from his years in television. So many swings and roundabouts. There was so little quality of life expected for him in his condition and his life story – so he has achieved so much. But then again….
