Returning: The Hills

The final season of The Hills promises to conclude "like no other show before."

The final season of The Hills is set to air on MTV next month.

The Laguna Beach spin-off is one of several shows to blur the lines between reality and narrative television, but its popularity can’t be denied.

The last 12 episodes promise fans a conclusion to remember. Publicity material indicates it will “conclude like no other show before. How will it end? What will be revealed? Who will return? How will they say goodbye?”

So far just 6 episodes of this season have aired in the US.

Tony DiSanto, President of Programming, MTV said, “We are lucky and honoured to have worked with this cast and tell their stories for this long and we are grateful to the many dedicated fans who have stuck with us over the years. We owe it to those fans, the cast and the show to go out on a high note. And this season will deliver on that goal in terms of drama, story, real emotion and an organic culmination of this saga.

It airs on MTV Australia on Tuesday 15 June at 9.30pm.

  1. its my fav show. guilty.
but im so glad its coming to an end.
without Lauren its gone downhill and so much more transparent in ways of set-up storylines. Plus, LC is awesome. 🙂

althought, this season is one of the most real yet. What with Spencer’s rage issue (and all ’round douchebaggery), Kristen’s suppose drug problem, Stephanie’s DUI and Audrina dating that tight-jeans failed pop singer Ryan Cabrera. hahaha. and of course, Heidi’s craptacular plastic surgery, she looks god awful its so sad….. but funny. 😛 haha

it’s sad to see it finish, but so happy Heidi and Spencer will just have nothing else to do anymore 😀 as if MTV will give them their own show, nooooobody would watch it.
    RIP Speidi’s “fame” 😛

  2. The only way to make it end on a memorable note is to have Heidi and Spencer finally admit they are idiots and huge douche bags and then jump off a cliff and die
