Ah I thought that might be the case but wasn’t sure. If so yes it’s not a great selection of clips aside from the likes of Depeche Mode. Would have expected a lot more synth pop stuff from the 80’s or at least some John Foxx.
The groups of same-band clips scheduled on the playlist are not a part of Numan’s guest programming.
Just checked out his play list and whilst there is indeed a lot of crap like Manson,Linkin Park & NIN there are also groups of clips by classic synth bands such as Human League,New Order & Kraftwerk.
Numan’s playlist is on ABC’s rage site.
Pretty unimpressive, but really, anyone who expected any different hasn’t heard how dreadful all but a handful of his albums are 🙂
Oooo when’s the Stephen Sondheim thing on? I can’t find it on IceTV
7:30pm on Biography Channel. Its a repeat, already been on ABC ages ago too.
Be interesting to see what sort of music he is into & what he looks like these days.
