  1. The line up is good have all the soaps together. All the cooking shows together followed by a movie. The only strange thing is Alf and Full House are not together but that might be because Alf only has a few episodes to screen before 7two have played the whole series.

What do you have against the 2 UK soaps Paul?

  2. @Bill: Yes. Seven started showing Come Dine With Me back in December at 5.00pm, then took it off after one week. They put it back on again a few months later at 3.00pm, then took it off again a few weeks after that. They’ve treated it absolutely appallingly. I don’t care if they bury it on 7TWO, just show it already.

  3. Yay they kept Shortland Street! I love it, and was worried when I read the headline of this article. I kind of wish the show could run an hour so we can catchup a bit quicker to NZ but at the same time i’m happy for just showing it 5 days a week the way they are! I sometimes believe it’s a far better soap than what we offer, but i’m an Aussie so I prob shouldn’t really back that point too much lol.

  4. glad that home and away the early years and sons and daughters is still going i have all eps of sons and daughters but it is still good to have it on tv and i am collecting home and away the early years as they show it

  5. Great lineup. Love Martha and AMC!! Better than Seven’s!!

Wish 7two would screen Jay Leno though.

Now GO! needs to fix their lineup. I reckon Nine has the best daytime lineup of all!!

  6. @Andrew
does 7 have rights to come dine with me????
    ie the british version??

why the hell dont they show it??

i’m always watching it on lifestyle food!
    the commentry is pi** funny!

  7. This should be 7TWO’s new schedule:
    9.00am Sons and Daughters
9.30am Home and Away – The Early Years
    10.00am Murder, She Wrote
    11.00am Upstairs Downstairs
    12.00pm James Martin Digs Deep
    12.30pm Ching’s Kitchen
    1.00pm All My Children
    2.00pm Shortland Street
    2.30pm 7TWO Mid-Arvo Movie
    4.30pm The Martha Stewart Show
5.30pm Rick Stein’s Taste of the Sea

  8. Don’t like the new lineup….enjoyed Martha in the time slot she was…..
@Paull….can’t stand Ellen or Dr.Phil and even Oprah these days….with the screaming audiences….really off putting!
And I like the Saturday movies….mostly…..cowboy movies not to my taste……but would like something better than soap repeats in the afternoon.

  9. Booo to Full House on at 5.30. I was quite happy with it on at 6.30 because it gave me something to watch at that time. Then all of a sudden it was taken off, and now i have half an hour with absolute crap to watch. I no longer watch 7TWO.

  10. They should keep Alf and Full House together like they did in the 6.00/6.30pm timeslot – why put in Hot Auctions in between? Schedule looks good.. may need to use pvr again to record some of those cooking shows.

  11. Have to make a not that Marth Stewart is moving, now I wish they would do something with their Saturday afternoon line in relation to the Home and Away catch-up eps. The couple of morning movies I have enjoyed sure they are older/classics but there has been a few jems.

  12. I agree with the above poster concerning Power Rangers!
Granted, Mums don’t like the show because of the PG fighting scenes, but boys across the country love it, and yes, in recent weeks it has actually been granted a new season of 20 episodes…it is still hot after all these years (since 1993).
    Is Sons and Daughters hot?
So come on 7, males don’t like soap all morning, males want Power Ranger repeats five days a week at 830am.
Let me guess, the program change was decided by a woman?

  13. still no sign of Come Dine With Me? Come on Seven it’s been months now! You’ve managed to zap out any interest I potentially had in Benidorm, don’t do it with CDWM as well!!

  14. What a crap move. Really annoyed at this. Sadly I’ve been sucked into Shortland Street and I have to record the UK soaps for an elderly aunt that still remembers when Coronation Street was played in the 70s on FTA tv. I guess I’ll have to stop as they are really inconvenient times.

So we’ll have yet another god damn movie that has been repeated a dozen times. Great way to boost your audience share 7. I still can’t belief Full House and Alf are on the schedule and all those cooking shows. It feels like the afternoon to evening schedule is now stuck in the early 90s.

  15. maybe they are hoping martha can get an audience now that ellen is in (R) mode?

i think jerry springer is included in 7’s deal with universal, they should try to slot that in there.

  16. No good for Power Ranger fans!
Since last year, Rangers has screened at 830am and thrilled many young and not so young boys…replaced by 1980s (!!!!!!) soap like Sons and Daughters!
    No good for me!

  17. That line up looks so *yawn* boring. 7two’s daytime schedule has never really appealed to me, apart from that brief period where they had amazing race repeats. At least 9 and Ten have sem-decent programming with news @ 11, Ellen/Dr Phil at 12 and oprah at 1.
