7TWO will air NBC drama The Black Donnellys which follows four young Roman Catholic Irish-American brothers from Manhattan and their involvement with organised crime.
The cast also includes Tom Guiry, Billy Lush, Michael Stahl-David, Olivia Wilde, Keith Nobbs and Kirk Acevedo.
Drawing heavily upon Irish-American themes, it features Jonathan Tucker as Tommy, the leader of brothers Jimmy, Kevin and Sean. It focusses on how they go from boys to mobsters, and showing how their new life affects their relationships with friends, family and lovers.
But the series was pulled off-screen after 6 episodes with just thirteen produced. It has previously aired in Australia on Showcase.
It premieres on 7TWO at 11:30pm Wednesday June 23rd.

lol, why bother. it was canceled so long ago!
OMG this was made over 3 years ago, it’s another good series which ended too soon. But why after all this time and airing on Showcase in prime-time would Seven stick it at 11:30 pm on the 2nd channel? Feels like they are just burning it off before their rights run out…
