Shane Warne has two television projects in the pipeline.
According to an article in the Herald Sun today, he’s not supposed to talk about it, but he can’t help himself.
To air in November, to coincide with the Ashes series, he will be interviewing famous people, some of whom are friends.
“(The idea) was why don’t you go and interview some of these guys – Mick Jagger, Chris Martin (Coldplay singer), Elton John, Michael Parkinson, Russell Crowe.
“All these guys have been around doing things for so long. What drives them? How did they get there? When did they know they were good? That’s the sort of show I want to do.”
It may include a segment where hefulfils a viewer request to, say, skydive or go three rounds in the ring with Jeff Fenech.
The second project is described as a reheat or revamp of an old favourite, but apparently it isn’t Wheel of Fortune or Family Feud. Thank goodness for that….
Warne’s name has frequently been associated with Top Gear Australia, which is due on Nine as a series of specials.

Shane Warne is (or was) a first rate cricketer. Please do no allow him any further exposure, his ego is large enough as it is.
Maybe it’s a revamp of The Price is Right?
Please God don’t let him do Top Gear!
Besides some of those fast cars might make his hair fall out again LOL
BTW do we have any news on TGA, a series of specials? I thought they’d be doing just 6-10 eps for a season?
