Adam and Callum turn the tables

Adam did a really bad Matt Preston impression. George cut his finger. George dubbed Jimmy a one trick pony. Did you miss the cast party?

If you missed last night’s MasterChef final Masterclass you missed a bit of a cast party.

Adam and Callum became the judges over dishes served up by George and Gary. It was a lot of fun…

With the Top 24 watching on, everyone had a great sense of humour impersonating one another.

Callum and Adam bounced on the top of their toes like an excited Calombaris, dropping lots encouraging cliches: “This is your time to shine!”

George and Gary, like ambitious contestants, were frantically whipping up bold dishes from Mystery Boxes.

“Is this the right time to be trying something new?” asked Callum.

“I’m not sure we would be trying that right now,” added Adam.

George cut his finger, called for a medic and soldiered on.

Gary dropped a gag about being as unpopular as Jonathan and threw in another about Jimmy being a one-trick dish with curry.

Everybody laughed.

Adam donned a cravat and did a really bad Matt Preston impression.

Callum and Adam couldn’t choose between the two dishes (despite a fishbone in Gary’s meal) and declared a tie.

The episode summed up the family feel of the ensemble and marked one of the reasons why the show is so beloved.

Inspiring idea.
